Who can join the classes?
At The French Institute, we specialize exclusively in French for Kids, Teens, and Women. This allows us to create a safe, supportive, and focused learning environment for all our students.
Which French levels do you teach?
We cover all levels from Complete Beginner (A1) to Advanced (C2), aligned with the official CEFR framework. Whether you are starting from scratch or preparing for a professional certification, our curriculum adapts to your specific goals.
How long does it take to learn French?
With consistent weekly lessons, most adult students reach A2 (basic conversational French) in 3 to 4 months, and B1 (independent user, the level required for many exams and visas) in around 8 to 10 months. Progress depends on your starting point, weekly practice, and how often you speak French between sessions — which is exactly why we track it with a personal CEFR progress dashboard.
Is it better to learn French online or in person?
Both work equally well for real progress, as long as the lesson is live and one-on-one rather than pre-recorded. Our online classes run live on Google Meet with the same curriculum, digital whiteboard, and progress tracking as our in-person sessions in Dubai Marina — the main difference is simply your own convenience and schedule.
What's the difference between DELF and TEF/TCF?
The DELF (and DALF for advanced levels) is the official French Ministry of Education diploma, valid for life, and commonly required for university admission or general certification. The TEF and TCF are timed proficiency tests, often required specifically for Canadian immigration (Express Entry, PR) and valid for a limited period. We specialize in DELF/DALF preparation, with a 99% exam success rate.
How fast will I progress?

How do I book and pay?
Simply contact us via WhatsApp to discuss your goals. Once we agree on your plan, we will send you our bank details by WhatsApp for a direct bank transfer. Your spot is confirmed as soon as payment is received.
Where do the classes take place?
Online sessions are held live on Google Meet. It's interactive, easy to use, and allows us to share digital resources in real-time. We also receive local students in our business center in Dubai Marina — contact us for an appointment.
What is the cancellation policy?
We offer a 48-hour cancellation policy. If you need to reschedule, please let us know at least 48 hours in advance so we can credit the session back to your plan.
